Hi-there Sidharth. All the steps in the article must be completed in order for everything to work properly. Try running the following command in terminal: "pyenv --help" If the pyenv documentation prints to the screen then it's you probably need to set the default version for the entire system using "pyenv global 3.8.6" with whichever version you installed. If you've set the default version for a specific directory using "pyenv local 3.6.8" then that version will take priority over the one you set for the system inside that directory. However, if you get an error message that the command cannot be found then there was a mistake with the installation or configuration of pyenv. Either way, we should be able to narrow down the problem after you enter the specified command. Let me know what happens. =]
